Thank you for taking the time to look at the terms and conditions which are applied to all orders that are placed with Wind Plus Ltd. Wind Plus Ltd may change these terms and conditions from time to time. The version found here on this website is deemed to be current and overrides any previously published version.

All goods remain the property of Wind Plus Ltd until paid for in full. Prices, specifications and the availability of items are subject to change without notice.

Making a Purchase

Please place your order online through this website. We have no minimum order quantity or invoice value. Payment must be received in full in GB pounds sterling (£) before goods are despatched. Items that are out of stock at the time of ordering will be placed on back order and sent as soon as possible. Please contact us if you wish to cancel a back order.

We do not take payment for any item until it is ready to ship. Back order items are not charged for until they are despatched.

We accept the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express

If you are shopping from outside the UK, your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Wind Plus Ltd will not be responsible for any consequential loss or damage which you may suffer if the products you have ordered are not supplied.

Special Order items are subject to a 50% non-refundable deposit.


Your order will normally be despatched within three days - often the same day.

UK Postage
Orders are usually sent by 1st Class post at a standard charge of £3.25 + VAT per order. Back order items will be sent post free. Heavy or bulky items may incur additional postage charges, in which case you will be advised before despatch.

Non-UK Postage
Orders from outside the UK are usually sent by Royal Mail, Air Mail service. Postage will be charged based on the order value. Please see the postage rate table here. Postage is calculated automatically at the checkout. Heavy or bulky items may incur additional postage charges, in which case you will be advised before despatch.

Under no circumstances shall Wind Plus Ltd be liable for consequential loss or damage arising from the damage, loss or delay of an order during transit.

Prices and VAT (Value Added Tax)

All prices are quoted in GB pounds sterling (£) and are subject to UK VAT at 20%. The most up to date prices can be found on this website.

For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is added.

For orders from the European Union, 20% VAT is added, unless you are a VAT registered EU business and quote your VAT number. In this case, VAT will not be added. Please quote your VAT number when ordering, otherwise VAT will be charged.

All orders from countries outside the European Union are UK VAT free.

Items from the "Wholesale" section of the website are available at wholesale prices, for resale by music shops, via a website login.

Card Payment Security

When making online card payments, you will be redirected to our Payment Service Provider, Sage Pay, to enter your card details. Wind Plus Ltd does not hold card details for any online payments. Payment is completed safely and securely using 128 bit SSL encryption directly on to the Sage Pay web server. Card details are not held in clear text on any website. These terms and conditions are subject to English Law and any disputes arising will be decided in accordance with English Law in an English court.

Privacy Policy

Wind Plus Ltd respect the need to protect your privacy. In order to process your orders and to provide you, if required, with details of those orders at a later stage we do need to collect a certain amount of data. Our policy is to collect and retain only the information we require to enable us to carry out our obligations to you. Any information gathered which is not deemed to already be in the public domain will not, under any circumstances, be passed on to any third party, except for payment processing and goods delivery purposes, without your prior permission.

Wind Plus Ltd may change this privacy policy from time to time. You should check the contents every so often to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 01 October 2008.

Cookies are used on our web shop to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

We may collect the following information:
  • name and job title
  • contact information including email address
  • demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
  • Take and fulfil orders
  • Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or post.
  • We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

If you wish to be removed from any mailing list we hold at any time, please email us at info@windplus.co.uk, or write to us at the address given in our contact details above.

We will store your information at least for the duration of any customer relationship we have with you, or as otherwise required by law (normally up to a maximum of 7 years for legal and tax reasons).

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us at the above address.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible and we will promptly amend our records.

Returns Policy

Returns authorisation must be obtained from Wind Plus Ltd before any returns are made. Goods may be returned for refund or exchange within 14 working days of receipt. For customers within the EU (but not business to business transactions), the refund will include any delivery charge providing the order is returned in full.

All returned items must be returned in their original condition and must not have been used. Any pads returned for refund or exchange may be subject to a 15% restocking charge. All returns must be securely packed and sent at the customers own risk and cost. If the reason for return is that the goods are faulty we will cover return carriage costs by an agreed method. Returns for Special Order items will only be permitted due to faulty goods.
